Many Courses are offered at the Metropolitan Center site that can be taken for credit within the College of Health and Urban Affairs, particularly in the School of Policy and Management program, and in the near future some courses will be available from the College of Arts and Science Political Science program, and the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The Center's Division of Organizational Training and Public Outreach offers training programs on site and has two management level training programs that can be taken for college credit within the School of Policy and Management with the prior approval of the instructor,
The Academy for Strategic Managment and the Executive Development Program.
FLACSO
Florida Internacional University (FIU ) and the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) offers a Master in Political Science in Spanish at the Metropolitan Center.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRAINING INSTITUTE
The Metropolitan Center of Florida International University in October 2003 initiated a training program in collaboration with Miami Dade County Office of Community and Economic Development and South Florida LISC, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
