The panel will present the results of two recent neighborhood-based data projects that were completed through collaborative efforts between Miami-Dade County government and the University of Miami and Florida International University. The Targeted Urban Areas (TUAs) Scorecard was developed by the FIU Metropolitan Center to provide a comprehensive set of indicators for the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust’s four policy areas: Economic Development, Housing, Education and Crime. The UM MAP/Miami Affordability Project provides an on-line interactive map of housing affordability in Miami-Dade County to assist government officials, planners and housing providers.
