As part of its commitment to public outreach the Metropolitan Center presents the quarterly"MetroForum". The breakfast gathering provides high neutral ground for the discussion of public policy. Free and open to the public, they are designed to bring together academics, elected officials, business and community leaders around issues of critical concern to South Florida.
Invited speakers represent authorities in their fields. Topics have included elections analysis, legislative analysis, poverty, housing, urban redevelopment, the funding of sports stadiums, public health, and governmental reform.
