The Metropolitan Center has provided training to many agencies and municipalities locally over the past ten years in topics as diverse as customer service to creating organizational performance measures. The Institute is committed to providing high quality training programs at reasonable cost to state agencies, local government, and non-profit organizations in South Florida. Training programs are customized to the specific needs of the client and are conducted either at the training facilities at the Metropolitan Center location in downtown Miami or on site for the sponsoring agency. Over the past three years the Institute has focused on delivering contract training.
The Center has contracted to become the primary training deliverer in the City of Miami, the City of Homestead, the Village of Pinecrest, and the City of South Miami. The Center has also provided specialty training programs for the City of Hialeah, the Greater Miami Conventions and Visitors Bureau, and Miami-Dade Transit Agency to name a few.
