Metropolitan Center develops YALI curriculum.
As a part of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI)launched by President Obama in 2010, FIU will be hosting 25 young fellows from sub-Saharan nations this summer. The Metropolitan Center was tasked with developing the public management curriculum for those fellows.

Kevin T. Greiner named New Affiliate Research Fellow
Kevin Greiner, JD, MUP, Planner & Economic Analyst, has over 25 years of experience with all aspects of complex high profile economic development projects. His expertise includes master planning, land planning, real estate investment economics and feasibility, smart growth development, economic repositioning, small business creation policy, real estate acquisition and disposition, and market intelligence. He will be contributing analysis to the Center's economic development projects.
