The American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Homelessness & Poverty’s Anti-Poverty hosted a luncheon round table as "an effort to help Florida’s anti-poverty community find and effectively share poverty solutions that work."
Our Associate Director, Dr. Ned Murray, AICP, participated as a panelist discussing the question "How can those who are already addressing poverty in Miami/Dade-Ft. Lauderdale/Broward work more collaboratively and in a cross-disciplinary fashion?" along with honorable invitees such as Daniella Levine Cava, Miami-Dade County commissioner; Oliver G. Gilbert III, mayor of Miami Gardens and chair of Miami Dade County Local Black Elected Officials.
