Hurricane Andrew 20 Years Later
The FIU Metropolitan Center, the School of International and Public Affairs, and the College of Arts and Sciences will be hosting Hurricane Andrew 20 Years Later conference on June 27, 2012 at the FIU Kovens Center. This is located at 3000 N.E. 151 Street, North Miami, FL 33181. Registration is at 7:30 AM and the event runs from 8 am to 12:30 pm. Free parking is available at the Kovens Center. Continuing education units are also available.

MetroForum Managing South Florida Cities in the Post-Great Recession Era
On November 14, 2012 the Metropolitan Center hosted its quarterly Metro Forum breakfast. The event was held at the FIU Pines Center from 8:30 to 12:30.
