Hialeah Traffic Analytic Solutions
The Metropolitan Center, in partnership with SAS, is developing a decision-making tool to optimize traffic flow and address transportation needs by analyzing current conditions, forecasting future congestion, and implementing forward-thinking solutions.

Media Landscape Analysis
Five community foundations have joined in the Press Forward South Florida initiative, which seeks to strength South Florida through local news and information. They have partnered with the FIU Jorge M. Perez Metropolitan Center to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the local media landscape.

Miami-Dade County 2024 Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment
The assessment included detailed analysis of community characteristics and needs across areas like education, economic opportunity, health and safety, and others. The research also incorporates community perspectives via a community survey, targeted focus groups and interviews.

Guiding HER Development (YWCA South Florida)
YWCA South Florida has partnered with the Metropolitan Center to design, collect and analyze primary data collection through a survey and focus groups that will assess the needs of women in Miami-Dade and opportunities for information and services that address impediments to their advancement.

North Miami CRA NW 7th Avenue Redevelopment Strategies
The study will identify the businesses in the NW 7th Avenue area of the CRA, provide demographic and economic development analysis within the CRA boundaries, and develop recommendations on business and community development strategies.
